Bareilly, Jan 2 (NationPress) Dr Shyam Bihari Lal, a prominent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA representing the Faridpur constituency in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, tragically passed away on Friday due to an unexpected heart attack. He was 65 years old.
Earlier that same day, Dr Lal participated in an official meeting led by Dharampal Singh, the Animal Husbandry Minister of Uttar Pradesh, held at the Circuit House in Bareilly.
This meeting, which included various public representatives and senior divisional officials, was called to strategize and plan developmental initiatives for the upcoming year.
As per accounts from attendees, the MLA started feeling unwell during the lunch break following the meeting. His health rapidly declined, prompting those present to rush him to Medicity Hospital on Pilibhit Road. Unfortunately, medical staff pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Arun Saxena, the Forest Minister who also attended the meeting, indicated that Dr Lal's health took a drastic turn during the session. “He was taken to the hospital immediately but, sadly, he could not be revived. His passing is a significant loss to both the party and the community,” said Saxena.
