In his heartfelt message shared on X, Prime Minister Modi stated, “The passing of Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal Ji, the MLA from Faridpur, has deeply saddened me. He was a devoted leader of the BJP, always focused on public welfare, and his death is a significant loss for our party. Dr. Lal had recently participated in a meeting led by Uttar Pradesh’s Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal Singh at the Circuit House in Bareilly, where various development initiatives for the year were discussed. This meeting included several public representatives and senior divisional officers.
Witnesses reported that after the meeting, Dr. Lal began to feel unwell during lunch, and his condition quickly worsened. He was immediately transported to Medicity Hospital on Pilibhit Road, where he was unfortunately pronounced dead upon arrival.
Forest Minister Arun Saxena, who was also present during the meeting, noted that Dr. Lal's health declined dramatically during the discussions. He remarked, “He was rushed to the hospital, but tragically, he could not be saved. His passing is a significant loss for both the party and the public.”
