Upon arrival, Sanghavi was welcomed by Director General of Police (DGP) K. L. N. Rao and City Police Commissioner Narsimha Komar. A ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented to the Deputy Chief Minister.
The inauguration featured the unveiling of a commemorative plaque signifying the official launch of the centre. “This centre enables us to continuously oversee Vadodara’s security and traffic conditions, facilitating quicker responses to incidents and enhancing public safety,” he explained.
After the opening ceremony, Sanghavi toured the centre, reviewing the monitoring systems, which include CCTV cameras that oversee critical areas of the city. He received insights on how the integrated technology supports both security measures and traffic management.
Sanghavi emphasized the necessity of maximizing the use of modern technology in policing and proposed further integration of sophisticated systems to bolster city security operations.

This initiative forms part of the broader vision of the Gujarat Police to implement smart solutions for urban safety and operational effectiveness.
