Chennai, Aug 1 (NationPress) Actor Vishal on Friday kicked off filming for his 35th project, under the direction of the renowned Tamil filmmaker Ravi Arasu.
This film is produced by esteemed filmmaker R B Choudhary through his prominent production company, Super Good Films. The film was officially launched last month with a grand pooja ceremony.
Notable personalities from the Tamil cinema world, including directors Vetrimaaran, Saravana Subbaiah (Citizen), Manimaran (NH4), Venkat Mohan (Ayogya), Saravanan (Engeyum Eppodhum), alongside actors Karthi and Jiiva, as well as cinematographer Arthur A Wilson and distributor Tiruppur Subramaniam, were present at the launch event.
This new venture marks the 99th film from Super Good Films, a company recognized for producing numerous hits and nurturing talented directors within the Tamil film landscape.
Currently untitled and referred to as Vishal 35, this film represents the first collaboration between Ravi Arasu and Vishal. Riding high on the success of his recent blockbuster, Madha Gaja Raja, Vishal aims to maintain this momentum.
The film features an impressive technical crew. Acclaimed cinematographer Richard M. Nathan reunites with Vishal after their successful collaboration on Madha Gaja Raja. The project also sees the return of the Mark Antony duo of Vishal and G.V. Prakash Kumar, who will be composing the music. NB Srikanth is responsible for editing, while Durairaj oversees art direction. Vasuki Bhaskar leads the costume design.
Promising actress Dushara Vijayan will star as the female lead opposite Vishal for the first time. The ensemble cast also includes Thambi Ramaiah and Arjai, with further cast details expected to be announced soon.
