Chennai, Sep 18 (NationPress) Actress Dushara Vijayan, who portrays one of the lead female roles in director Ravi Arasu's highly anticipated action film 'Magudam', announced the completion of her shooting schedule for the movie on Thursday. The team had kicked off its third filming schedule in Ooty on the previous Monday.

Dushara shared her milestone on social media, featuring images of the crew celebrating her wrap with a cake-cutting event.

She expressed her gratitude, stating, "And that’s a wrap for #Magudam! Thankful for every experience, every lesson, and the fantastic team that made it all possible. Couldn’t have asked for a better journey! Onward and upward! #மகுடம் #SGF99 #Vishal35."

Vishal stars as the leading man alongside Dushara and Anjali in this film.

Insiders report that the filming schedule is expected to continue for the week, with Vishal likely returning to Chennai next week.

Previously, Vishal had updated fans about the film's progress. After completing the second filming schedule, he remarked, "Finished the second schedule and back to Chennai. More surprises ahead. It’s worth noting that the second schedule was also filmed in Ooty, where the announcement was made that actress Anjali had joined the cast.

For context, Vishal began filming for his 35th project on August 1 this year in Chennai. This film, produced by esteemed filmmaker R B Choudhary under the renowned banner Super Good Films, was officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony in July.

This upcoming venture marks the 99th film for Super Good Films, a production house recognized for delivering numerous blockbusters and nurturing talented filmmakers in the Tamil cinema landscape.

Notably, this project is the first collaboration between director Ravi Arasu and Vishal. Following the success of his latest release 'Madha Gaja Raja', which became a blockbuster, Vishal is eager to maintain this momentum.

The film features an exceptional technical crew. Acclaimed cinematographer Richard M. Nathan reunites with Vishal after their successful collaboration on 'Madha Gaja Raja'. Additionally, the film brings back the dynamic duo of Vishal and G.V. Prakash Kumar, with G.V. Prakash composing the film's music. NB Srikanth is responsible for editing, while Durairaj oversees art direction. Vasuki Bhaskar leads the costume design efforts.
