Chennai, Nov 17 (NationPress) The renowned actor Vishal revealed on Monday that the filming of the grand climax sequence for his anticipated film, 'Magudam', has been successfully completed.

On his X timeline, he posted a video showcasing the immense effort that went into crafting this pivotal scene, captioning it, "Climax Sequence: COMPLETED. 17 consecutive nights of relentless, high-octane action. #Magudam / #Makutam advances to its next stage."

Vishal elaborated that the crew worked tirelessly for 17 nights to accomplish this substantial climax scene.

Earlier this month, IANS reported that the 'Magudam' team had commenced filming this elaborate climax, which features approximately 100 stunt performers.

The production house, Vishal Film Factory, shared a video clip that highlighted the crew's efforts during the intense action sequence.

They also stated, "Vishal’s directorial debut film Magudam/Makutam showcases a monumental climax, with thrilling action at its zenith, involving 100 stuntmen and 800 crew members."

Additionally, Vishal has begun the dubbing process for the film, which marks his directorial debut.

Sources close to the actor informed IANS that post-production activities are ongoing while the team finalizes the climax scenes.

Recently, Vishal confirmed that he assumed the director's role for 'Magudam', clarifying that this decision stemmed from a sense of responsibility rather than obligation.

Initially, the film was under the direction of the well-known Ravi Arasu, who is now stepping back as the project nears completion.

Industry insiders suggested that Vishal took over directing duties following creative disagreements with Ravi Arasu. Footage of Vishal directing the crew on set has circulated on social media.

Notably, actress Dushara Vijayan, who portrays one of the lead characters, has already wrapped up her segments.

The crew, having concluded their third schedule in Ooty, initiated the final schedule in Chennai at TR Gardens a few days ago.

In 'Magudam', Vishal stars alongside Dushara and Anjali. Filming for this, his 35th project, commenced on August 1 of this year in Chennai.

The film features an outstanding technical team, with acclaimed cinematographer Richard M. Nathan reuniting with Vishal after their successful collaboration on the hit film 'Madha Gaja Raja'. It also revives the partnership of Vishal and G.V. Prakash Kumar, who composes the film's music. NB Srikanth is handling editing, while Durairaj oversees art direction, with costume design led by Vasuki Bhaskar.
