Dubai, March 31 (NationPress) In a stunning rise, Georgia Voll ascended eight positions to claim the title of the No. 1 ICC Women’s T20I batter, surpassing her compatriot Beth Mooney. This remarkable achievement followed her first T20I century in the decisive match against the West Indies, leading her team to a convincing 3-0 series victory.

Voll's impressive performance propelled her to a personal best of 815 rating points, marking her inaugural reign at the top of the batting rankings. Australia triumphed in the rain-interrupted match by 40 runs through the DLS method.

Beth Mooney's leadership, which began in January 2024 after she took over from Tahlia McGrath, came to an end as Voll celebrated her 52-ball century during their series sweep in Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This timely success comes just 72 days ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England and Wales.

Meanwhile, Amelia Kerr, captain of New Zealand, continued to shine in her all-round capabilities during the home series against South Africa. She has now joined the ranks of the top women’s all-rounders, previously held by Rebecca Steele, Aimee Watkins, and Sophie Devine.

After scoring 105 runs and taking two wickets for just six runs in the final T20I in Christchurch, Kerr displaced West Indies captain Hayley Matthews from the top spot in the all-rounder rankings. She has also advanced to sixth among batters and tenth among bowlers. Matthews had held the all-rounder title since October 2023.

Additionally, the Women’s ODI Player Rankings have undergone significant changes following the first ODI match between the White Ferns and the Proteas in Christchurch.

Maddie Green surged four spots to 13th on the batters’ list after contributing 85 runs in a closely contested match, where her team faced a thrilling last-ball defeat. South Africa's debutant, Kayla Reyneke, clinched the win with a six, sealing a two-wicket victory.

South Africa’s Annerie Dercksen scored 72 runs off 93 balls, advancing nine positions to 42nd among batters. Meanwhile, teammate Ayabonga Khaka enjoyed her best ODI performance with figures of six for 56, moving up three spots to 17th among bowlers.

Both Amelia and her sister Jessica Kerr took two wickets in the initial match, with Amelia climbing two places to ninth, while Jessica remained at 13th.

Over in St. Kitts and Nevis, Australia has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in their three-match series against the West Indies, winning the first match by 103 runs and the second by 90 runs.

Despite the West Indies' disappointing results, Stefanie Taylor shone with an unbeaten century (105 off 129 balls), lifting her ten positions to 28th in the ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings.

Alana King experienced a drop in her bowling rankings due to her figures of 0 for 42 and 1 for 45, allowing England’s Sophie Ecclestone to reclaim the top position in the ICC Women’s ODI Bowling Rankings. King is just four rating points behind Ecclestone's 747, giving her a chance to regain her spot.

Finally, Australia’s Georgia Wareham moved up eight spots to rank 16th among all-rounders after scoring 81 runs and taking four wickets in the first two ODIs against the West Indies.
