Bhopal, Feb 12 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, is set to conduct individual and roundtable discussions with industrialists at the Taj Hotel in New Delhi on Wednesday. This initiative is part of the final arrangements for the forthcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal.
As an initial event leading up to GIS 2025, CM Yadav has extended invitations to prominent industrialists from across India. Following his address at the opening session, he will discuss with business leaders to showcase the investment potential in Madhya Pradesh.
Accompanying the CM will be senior state government officials who will introduce the state's new investment policy. This policy promises various incentives, simplifies the business environment, and offers benefits tailored to specific sectors.
Comprising 10 sub-policies under the MP Industry Promotion Policy, it encompasses crucial sectors including agriculture, food processing, textiles, footwear, toys, aerospace, and defense manufacturing.
The policy emphasizes job creation and investment facilitation, with the government positioned as a catalyst for investors. To guarantee transparency, all essential approvals—from land allocation to labor clearances—will be processed within a stipulated timeframe under the Lok Sewa Guarantee Act.
The state government is also focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship, and job creation by implementing strategies that nurture a startup culture that resonates with the ambitions of the youth.
Moreover, the new film policy aims to enhance film production in Madhya Pradesh, providing additional incentives for films that emphasize youth, women, and inspirational figures. A single-window system will facilitate the approval process for films, small-budget projects, and TV serials.
CM Yadav has revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Madhya Pradesh Global Investment Summit on February 24, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah participating in the closing ceremony on February 25.
The state boasts impressive connectivity, featuring a National Highway network exceeding 5,000 km and a rail network with 550 trains operating daily. It is ranked 7th in the Export Preparedness Index 2021 and is recognized among Indian states for its Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) according to the World Bank.
