Ahmedabad, March 19 (NationPress) Aligning with Chairman Gautam Adani’s social vision, the Adani Group has launched a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing India's workforce by introducing the nation's largest 'Skill and Employ' program, supporting the 'Make in India' campaign.

This initiative collaborates with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) to cultivate a skilled talent pool for sectors including green energy, manufacturing, high-tech industries, project excellence, and industrial design.

According to Robin Bhowmik, CEO of Adani Skills and Education, "This collaboration is crucial for our mission to develop high-level technical talent and aligns perfectly with our commitment to the 'Make in India' initiative across our diverse operations."

Through extensive efforts in academic quality assurance, certification-driven learning pathways, and faculty and student exchange programs, this partnership aims to deliver top-tier application-based education for India’s youth.

“Our strategy guarantees that students are ready for the industry from day one, thus supporting various sectors and contributing to India’s growth narrative,” Bhowmik emphasized.

To actualize this vision, the Adani family has pledged over Rs 2,000 crore to set up an internationally recognized institution and finishing school in Mundra, Gujarat.

The focus will be on selecting students from technical and vocational education backgrounds throughout India, aligning their training with specific industry demands and career goals.

Upon earning their certification, students will have the chance to gain employment within the Adani Group or other relevant sectors, ensuring they are industry-ready from the outset.

“Our partnership with the Adani Group marks a significant advancement in developing next-generation talent that will propel India's industrial growth and innovation,” stated Ute Brockmann, IGCC Deputy Director General and Head of DEinternational Services.

The IGCC has robust experience in implementing high-quality, German Standard Dual Vocational Education certified programs in India.

“We anticipate this collaboration with the Adani Group to evolve into a long-term strategic partnership,” Brockmann remarked.

Founded in 1956, IGCC is a non-profit entity and the largest German bi-national chamber abroad, as well as the largest chamber of commerce in India, representing nearly 4,000 member companies across a variety of sectors.
