About the Jan Sewa Connect Initiative
Jan Sewa Connect is India Post's flagship infrastructure modernisation programme, designed to reimagine post offices as accessible, efficient, and digitally empowered community service hubs. The Andheri RS Post Office is one of 40 sites selected for a Proof of Concept across 17 states under the initiative.
Under Jan Sewa Connect, India Post has proposed the upgradation of around 2,000 post offices across Maharashtra alone, signalling the scale of the planned transformation at the state level.
