What the Jan Seva Connect Initiative Entails
The redeveloped post office is part of the Centre's plan to transform India's postal network into multi-purpose public service hubs. Citizens can now access banking facilities, savings schemes, Aadhaar-related services, passport services, and a range of digital facilities under one roof. Officials noted that disbursements and service delivery will be streamlined through upgraded digital infrastructure at these centres.
