New Delhi, April 20 (NationPress) The public sector engineering leader Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has achieved a remarkable 19% year-on-year revenue growth, totaling Rs 27,350 crore for the financial year 2024-25, as stated in a company announcement made on Sunday.

Additionally, the company has reported its highest-ever order inflows for the year, amounting to Rs 92,534 crore. Consequently, BHEL's total order book has surged to Rs 195,922 crore by the end of FY 2024-25.

BHEL has solidified its market leadership by securing orders worth Rs 81,349 crore in the power sector.

Currently, the company has 39 boilers in its order book.

Among these, Adani Power has emerged as the top client, placing an order for the highest number of boilers with an installed capacity of 800 MW for thermal power plants. The private entity has ordered 14 boilers, while the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) follows with 11 boilers. State-owned companies from Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra have also made boiler orders. Specifically, Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) have placed orders for three and four boilers, respectively. Out of the 39 boilers, 31 are for 800 MW each, while eight are for 660 MW each.

BHEL has recently obtained the Letter of Intent (LOI) for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) package for two 660 megawatt 'Supercritical' thermal power plants at the Hasdeo Thermal Power Station, situated in the Korba district of Chhattisgarh. This contract will cover the supply of supercritical equipment such as the boiler, turbine, generator, and other essential auxiliaries, along with the erection of civil works.

In the industrial sector, BHEL recorded new orders worth Rs 11,185 crore, showcasing the company's diverse presence across various sectors, including transportation, defence, process industries, and industrial equipment, as per the statement.

BHEL has successfully commissioned or synchronized 8.1 GW of thermal power capacity, reflecting its ongoing commitment to project delivery and operational efficiency.

With robust double-digit revenue growth, an unprecedented order book, and a solid execution pipeline, BHEL has entered FY 2025-26 with strong momentum, the statement indicated.
