Delhi, July 31 (NationPress) The Department of Posts is set to roll out its next-generation APT (Advanced Postal Technology) application across Delhi as part of a significant move towards digital transformation and enhanced customer service, as stated by the Ministry of Communication on Thursday.
On August 4, a total of 353 Post Offices and 61 Branch Post Offices throughout the capital will launch this updated digital platform, the ministry reported.
To facilitate a smooth transition, the department has scheduled a service outage for Saturday, August 2, 2025. During this period, no public transactions will occur at the 414 affected locations while the system undergoes essential data migration, validation, and configuration.
Nevertheless, 35 specific post offices in Delhi will remain operational on August 2 to lessen public inconvenience, according to the statement.
Notable locations such as Aliganj, Defence Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Saket, Malviya Nagar, and Hazrat Nizamuddin will be included among these offices. A complete list of available post offices will be provided.
