New Delhi, Dec 19 (NationPress) Global automaker Range Rover on Thursday declared the launch of sales for the 2025 'Made in India' Range Rover Sport in the country.

The 2025 Range Rover Sport – the inaugural vehicle produced in India solely for the domestic market – is now offered in the robust and efficient 3.0l Petrol Dynamic HSE and 3.0l Diesel Dynamic HSE variants, as stated by the Tata Motors Group.

The starting price for the New Range Rover Sport is set at Rs 1.45 crore, ex-showroom, and it is available in five elegant color choices: Fuji White, Santorini Black, Giola Green, Varesine Blue, and Charente Grey.

Built on the advanced MLA-Flex platform, the Range Rover Sport provides remarkable capability, performance, handling, and increased efficiency.

“With the addition of luxurious features like perforated semi-aniline leather seats, massage front seats, and a head-up display, our esteemed customers will experience an enhanced level of comfort and technology in the Range Rover Sport,” commented Rajan Amba, Managing Director, JLR India.

The vehicle boasts a 13.1-inch curved touchscreen for Pivi Pro infotainment, paired with an intuitive 13.7-inch Interactive Driver Display, along with features like Software Over The Air and Head-Up Display.

The 2025 Range Rover Sport features semi-aniline leather seats, distinguished for their superior quality and feel.

In September, Tata Motors held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new Rs 9,000 crore facility in Tamil Nadu, which aims to manufacture and export next-generation vehicles for Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).

Located in Panapakkam in the Ranipet district, the plant will serve both local and international markets while generating over 5,000 jobs. Tata Motors Group plans to invest Rs 9,000 crore in this greenfield manufacturing site, designed to achieve an annual production capacity exceeding 250,000 vehicles.

Production will commence in phases, gradually increasing to meet the target capacity over the next 5-7 years.

In May of this year, Tata Motors-owned JLR announced plans to begin assembling the flagship Range Rover model, along with the Range Rover Sport, in India for the first time, which will substantially reduce costs.

The company’s Pune plant currently assembles the Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Evoque, Jaguar F-PACE, and Discovery Sport models.
