New Delhi, Dec 10 (NationPress) - The American technology leader Google has officially introduced the Google AI Plus subscription plan in India, designed to broaden user access to its cutting-edge AI models, multimedia functionalities, and additional features.
According to a statement from the company, "With enhanced access to Gemini 3 Pro through the Gemini application, as well as improved image and video generation tools like Nano Banana Pro and Flow, this plan empowers users with advanced capabilities to enhance both their creativity and productivity."
Moreover, the plan integrates Gemini directly into popular applications such as Gmail and Google Docs, while also offering increased storage and family sharing options.
Subscribers will benefit from expanded access to NotebookLM, facilitating deeper research and analysis.
Each subscriber receives 200 GB of storage across Photos, Drive, and Gmail, with the ability to share their benefits with up to five family members, making it an economically viable option for advanced AI features, as stated by Google.
The Google AI Plus plan is priced at Rs 399 per month, with a special introductory rate of Rs 199 per month for the first six months for new subscribers.
"This plan opens doors to powerful AI tools that can significantly elevate your productivity and creativity, all at an affordable price," the statement emphasized.
In November, Google laid out a comprehensive safety-first strategy for India, focusing on protecting children, teenagers, and older adults in its AI initiatives.
It introduced real-time anti-scam tools on devices, text watermarking, and digital literacy programs aimed at making AI safer and more inclusive for users.
The 'Scam Detection' feature, powered by Gemini Nano, will be implemented on Pixel smartphones to analyze and identify potential scams during calls in real-time, without recording audio or sharing any data with Google.
This feature is disabled by default, applies only to calls from unknown numbers (not saved contacts), emits a beep to alert participants, and can be deactivated by the user.
