New Delhi, Oct 4 (NationPress) Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on Saturday praised the transformative advancement realized over the past sixty years of diplomatic ties between India and Singapore.
He highlighted the promising potential for further bilateral engagement founded on trust and mutual respect, emphasizing extensive collaboration in various sectors, particularly in sustainability, digitalization, skills development, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and connectivity.
Goyal spoke at the “India-Singapore @60: Partnership for Growth & Engagement” business session in Singapore, commemorating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations. The event was co-hosted by FICCI, CII, and ASSOCHAM.
Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Singapore, reaffirmed the enduring relationship between the two countries, which is strengthened by robust economic and interpersonal ties.
She shared valuable insights into Singapore’s vision for enhancing trade, investment, and innovation-focused collaboration with India.
The session attracted participation from senior government officials, industry leaders, and representatives from both nations.
