New Delhi, Dec 11 (NationPress) India has made significant strides towards fostering a responsible and inclusive AI ecosystem through the IndiaAI Mission, which operates under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). On Thursday, a Regional Pre-Summit Event was organized in Gandhinagar.
This event took place at Mahatma Mandir in partnership with the Gujarat Government and IIT Gandhinagar. It serves as a crucial preparatory meeting ahead of the India–AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled for New Delhi from February 15 to 20 next year.
The regional conference aims to unite senior government officials, technology leaders, researchers, and industry experts to explore how AI can propel India’s economic, digital, and social transformation.
Key discussions will revolve around utilizing AI to enhance governance, public services, and development in both urban and rural settings.
The conference will commence with an inauguration featuring several prominent dignitaries from Gujarat and the central government.
