The budget airline IndiGo announced it will conduct selected flights on Sunday, urging passengers to verify their flight status before proceeding to the airport.
On social media platform X, the airline expressed, "Our teams are dedicated to supporting passengers around the clock and assisting them in reaching their destinations amid the ongoing uncertainties in the Middle East.”
“As part of this initiative, we are operating the flights listed below on March 22, following the necessary safety protocols and regulatory approvals,” IndiGo added.

In parallel, Air India and Air India Express announced they will together operate approximately 50 flights, both scheduled and special, to and from the West Asia region on March 22.
“The two airlines will offer a combined total of 50 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the West Asia area on March 22,” the airlines declared in a joint statement.
Regular services to key locations like Jeddah and Muscat will continue. Specifically, 20 flights will connect India with Jeddah, where Air India will operate return flights from Delhi and Mumbai, while Air India Express will provide services from Bengaluru, Mangaluru, and Kozhikode.
Furthermore, Air India Express will operate eight scheduled flights linking cities such as Delhi, Kochi, Mumbai, and Kannur with Muscat.
In addition to these regular routes, the airlines plan to operate about 30 non-scheduled flights to various destinations in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
These special flights will be contingent on slot availability and current conditions at departure points, executed with the approval of Indian and local authorities.
