The revised pricing will be effective from September 22, aligning perfectly with the upcoming festive season.
This strategic decision enables the luxury automaker to fully transfer the benefits of the tax reduction to its clientele, thereby enhancing the affordability of its vehicles.
The Japanese luxury manufacturer has implemented price cuts ranging from just over Rs 1 lakh to a remarkable Rs 20.8 lakh, based on the specific model.
The entry-level ES 300h sedan is now priced lower by up to Rs 1.47 lakh, while the popular NX 350h SUV enjoys a price reduction of up to Rs 1.58 lakh.
Within the RX series, the RX 350h has seen a decrease of up to Rs 2.1 lakh and the RX 500h by Rs 2.58 lakh.
Further significant cuts are seen in larger luxury models; the LM 350h now boasts savings of up to Rs 5.77 lakh, while the flagship LX 500d SUV has become more appealing with a substantial reduction of up to Rs 20.8 lakh.
This marks one of the most considerable price adjustments in India’s luxury car market following the rollout of GST 2.0.
Hikaru Ikeuchi, President of Lexus India, expressed his excitement about passing on the full tax benefit to customers.
