New Delhi, Sep 8 (NationPress) Nissan Motor India has announced a significant price reduction for its New Magnite lineup, with cuts of up to Rs 1 lakh following the government's recent GST reduction on passenger vehicles. This decision reflects Nissan's commitment to passing the full benefit of the tax decrease onto its customers, making the Magnite models more accessible just in time for the festive season.
The updated pricing means that the entry-level New Nissan Magnite Visia MT is now priced at under Rs 6 lakh, while the N-Connecta CVT and the KURO Special Edition CVT are now available for less than Rs 10 lakh.
Additionally, the premium CVT Tekna and Tekna+ versions have also seen price reductions of nearly Rs 1 lakh.
Nissan has further slashed the cost of the CNG retrofitment kit for the Magnite to Rs 71,999, providing customers with an extra saving of Rs 3,000. This kit, developed by Motozen, a government-approved vendor, includes a three-year/1 lakh km warranty and maintains the vehicle’s 336-litre boot space.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, stated that the GST reduction serves as a timely boost for the automotive sector and directly benefits customers. He noted that the festive season typically increases demand, and with this supportive policy, the company anticipates enhanced sales and market activity.
The new prices will take effect for all deliveries starting September 22, coinciding with the first day of Navratri, although customers can already reserve the Magnite at the updated rates across dealerships.
The New Nissan Magnite has gained recognition as one of the safest compact SUVs in India, featuring six airbags as standard and achieving a 5-star safety rating from GNCAP for adult occupant protection.
Furthermore, Nissan has launched an industry-first 10-year extended warranty plan for the Magnite, providing customers long-term peace of mind. The recently released Magnite KURO Special Edition showcases a sleek all-black design and a new Metallic Grey option has been added for the Tekna, Tekna+, and N-Connecta variants.
With its eye-catching design, upscale features, and over 55 safety elements, the Magnite continues to strengthen its global footprint, now available in over 65 countries.
