Ahmedabad, Nov 9 (NationPress) Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, has stated that clean energy and artificial intelligence (AI) will be the defining elements of this century, emphasizing the ambition to transform India into the world’s leading sustainable intelligence hub.
In a post shared on the social media platform X, Gautam Adani remarked, "Our nation is at the crossroads of clean energy and artificial intelligence, which are the twin forces shaping this century."
He further elaborated, "The collaboration between Adani and Google in Vizag aims to cultivate an energy-efficient AI future led by India. Our objective is unequivocal: to establish India as the globe's most sustainable intelligence hub," noted the billionaire entrepreneur.
Just last month, Gautam Adani expressed pride in partnering with Google to develop India’s largest AI data center campus located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Through its joint venture, AdaniConneX, Adani Enterprises, along with Google, announced a groundbreaking partnership to create India’s largest AI data center campus, complemented by new green energy infrastructure in Visakhapatnam.
"Today marks a historic milestone for India! Adani is excited to collaborate with Google in constructing India’s largest AI data center campus in Visakhapatnam, tailored to meet the demands of artificial intelligence," Gautam Adani stated in a post on X.
This facility is designed to accommodate the Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) and Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) to support deep learning, neural network training, and large-scale AI model inference, thereby fostering an ecosystem that accelerates AI-driven solutions for critical sectors in India, including healthcare, agriculture, logistics, and finance.
"We are privileged to contribute to building the engine that will fuel India’s AI revolution, equipping our nation’s brightest talents to tackle complex challenges," concluded the Adani Group Chairman.
Google’s AI hub in Visakhapatnam represents a multi-faceted investment of around $15 billion over five years (2026-2030), consisting of gigawatt-scale data center operations supported by a robust subsea cable network and clean energy, aimed at handling the most demanding AI workloads in India.
