Swiggy FY26 net loss widens 33% to ₹4,154 crore; Q4 losses narrow
Swiggy Ltd, India's online food and quick commerce delivery platform, reported a 33% rise in its full-year net loss to ₹4,154 crore for FY26, up from ₹3,117 crore in the previous fiscal year. Despite the widening annual loss, the company showed signs of improvement at the quarterly level, with its Q4 FY26 net loss narrowing sharply to ₹800 crore from ₹1,081 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue Surges 45% in Q4
Swiggy posted a 45% year-on-year rise in revenue from operations for the quarter ended 31 March 2026, reaching ₹6,383 crore compared to ₹4,410 crore in Q4 FY25. Total income for the quarter came in at ₹6,649 crore, a 46.74% year-on-year increase from ₹4,531 crore in the corresponding period last year, reflecting strong demand across both food delivery and quick commerce verticals.
Instamart Drives Quick Commerce Growth
Swiggy's quick commerce arm, Instamart, reported a 68.8% year-on-year surge in gross order value (GOV) to ₹7,881 crore during the quarter — a standout performance in a segment that has become a key battleground among Indian consumer tech platforms. Managing Director and Group CEO Sriharsha Majety said Instamart is focusing on improving unit economics and strengthening operational efficiency.
