Mumbai, Jan 8 (NationPress) The trailer for the anticipated streaming crime drama series ‘Chidiya Udd’ was revealed on Wednesday. It tells the story of a sex worker and her dreams as she faces a lone battle in the treacherous underworld of the city.
The cast includes Jackie Shroff, Bhoomika Meena, Sikandar Kher, Madhur Mittal, Mayur More, and Mita Vashisht in key roles.
Regarding the show, Jackie Shroff, who plays Qadir Khan, commented, “The realm of ‘Chidiya Udd’ is filled with unexpected twists. It’s a domain where survival reigns supreme, and every character is engaged in their own struggle. Bringing Qadir to life has been both challenging and fulfilling, and I believe the audience will appreciate it.”
The narrative follows a young woman entangled in the conflicts of criminals and shifting loyalties. Seher (played by Bhoomika Meena) is a young woman from Rajasthan who must face the brutal realities of Mumbai. The series delves into her struggle to escape the bonds that confine her, while uncovering the harsh truths of life.
Bhoomika Meena, who embodies Seher, remarked, “Playing Seher has been an extraordinary journey. She is a warrior, someone who will not yield to the cruelty surrounding her. The series is produced by Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri, directed by Ravi Jadhav. ‘Chidiya Udd’ is scheduled to stream on January 15 on Amazon MX Player.
