Los Angeles, Jan 21 (NationPress) Rapper A$AP Rocky shares his positive insights on fatherhood, claiming that being a dad has made him "cooler".
The 37-year-old artist, who has three children with partner Rihanna—sons RZA, three, Riot, two, and daughter Rocki, just four months—asserts that neither he nor the Diamonds hitmaker are overly strict parents, and he feels that fatherhood has not tarnished his credibility, according to ‘Female First UK’.
When questioned about their parenting styles, he said on The New York Times Popcast, “Neither of us needs to be strict. We’re just cool-ass parents. I always told myself that if I became a dad, I would be the coolest dad ever. And it’s true; being a dad has elevated my swag, bro.”
Though the rapper is a vegetarian, he allows his children to eat whatever they desire. He commented, “They eat whatever they want. I have to let them be themselves.”
Since the birth of his daughter, Rocky expressed that she has “taken over the entire house”. He shared, “Baby Rocki is something else; she’s four months old. She looks exactly like me—my twin, bro.”
According to ‘Female First UK’, he reminisced about life with two sons being “lit” and humorously referred to them as their own “He-Man Women Haters Club.”
He added, “It’s just me with the little rascals, and then baby Rocki came in and took charge of the household. She’s very vocal at four months and loves to giggle and smile.”
Rocky is intrigued by the differing personalities of his sons, stating, “My first son, RZA, is totally different from his younger brother. They’re only 14 months apart, but RZA is quite antisocial while my second son is a social butterfly. He craves attention and loves cotton candy, while my first son has never even tasted candy.”
As his boys grow, Rocky looks forward to teaching them “how to throw footballs and slapbox without hurting each other.”
