Mumbai, Feb 12 (NationPress) Following the 12-year leap in the series “Jagriti - Ek Nayi Subah”, actor Aarya Babbar shared insights about the evolution of his character, declaring that he remains as menacing and power-hungry as before.
Aarya expressed, “I am thrilled to present this advanced version of Kalikant to the audience. The shift towards a more polished and commanding persona, adorned with a Jodhpuri suit and a distinguished salt-and-pepper look, perfectly aligns with his political journey.”
“Although his appearance has undergone changes, his core essence endures—he is still as menacing and power-hungry as ever. This transformation adds new dimensions to his character, rendering him even more fascinating, and I eagerly anticipate what viewers will experience!”
One of the most remarkable changes is Aarya’s portrayal of Kalikant Thakur, who reemerges in a dramatically new form. His look has evolved significantly, mirroring his increasing influence and authority. Now adopting a more refined and modern style, he wears an elegant Jodhpuri suit, radiating authority and charm.
“His greying hair and beard symbolize the passage of time and his ascent to the role of a minister. Yet, beneath this polished surface, Kalikant remains the same cold-blooded and astute villain at heart.”
“Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah” is broadcasted on Zee TV.
