Mumbai, April 8 (NationPress) Actor Aasif Khan is gearing up to captivate audiences with his performance in the forthcoming mass horror comedy 'The Bhootnii', where he stars alongside Sanjay Dutt.

In the film, he portrays Nasir, a quirky villager who infuses a delightful mix of humor and suspense.

Reflecting on his time on set, Aasif shared a motivational story about Sanjay Dutt’s commitment to his role. “Witnessing Sanjay sir’s fervor for acting was truly inspiring. Even after wrapping his scenes for the day, he would remain to assist us with our cues. His presence added a new level of energy to our sets, and his generosity as an actor made it even more rewarding to work with him,” Aasif Khan expressed.

Previously, Sanjay Dutt explained what attracted him to the role of a ghostbuster in 'The Bhootnii'.

Discussing the unique traits of the character that piqued his interest, Sanjay stated, “I have a fondness for comedies. 'The Bhootnii' strikes a great balance between horror and comedy. In fact, horror comedy is one of the most challenging genres to nail. However, upon hearing the script, I sensed its potential to entertain. I was drawn to my character, a ghostbuster baba, for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed embodying this role, which has great mass appeal.”

Directed by Siddhant Sachdev, 'The Bhootnii' boasts a remarkable cast including Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari, and Beyou Nick.

Produced by Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Three Dimension Motion Pictures, and presented by Deepak Mukut & Sanjay Dutt, with co-production by Hunar Mukut and Maanayata Dutt, 'The Bhootnii' is set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025.
