Mumbai, Nov 22 (NationPress) Actor Abhishek Bachchan shared that his upcoming film 'I Want To Talk', set for release in 2024, has imparted valuable lessons about both people and himself. This revelation comes as the Shoojit Sircar directed film marks its one-year milestone since its release.
He took to social media to post two images from the drama, expressing his appreciation for the opportunity to engage in a journey that sparked authentic and heartfelt discussions.
On his official Instagram account, Abhishek wrote, "A year has passed since 'I Want To Talk' released, and I am truly thankful for every story, the pauses, and every sincere conversation it has led me to. (sic)"
"This journey has revealed more about people and myself than I ever anticipated. Thank you for listening, sharing, and turning a simple concept into something profound," he added.
In the film, Abhishek portrays the character Arjun Sen, a cancer survivor whose story reflects his emotionally challenging journey through a significant surgery and a complex relationship with his daughter.
Written by Ritesh Shah and produced by Rising Sun Films and Kino Works, 'I Want To Talk' features Abhishek alongside Ahilya Bamroo as Reya Sen (Arjun's daughter), Johny Lever as Johny, and Jayant Kripalani as Dr. Jayant Deb, among others.
Abhishek also received the Filmfare Award for 'Best Actor' for his role in 'I Want To Talk'.
Despite some critics questioning the integrity of award processes, suggesting that Abhishek may have purchased the accolade, he responded on X (formerly Twitter) stating, "To clarify, I have never bought any awards or engaged in aggressive PR. What I have is the result of hard work, dedication, and perseverance (sic)."
He further added, "I doubt you will believe anything I say or write. Therefore, the best way to silence doubts is through relentless effort to ensure there’s never skepticism about future achievements. I will prove you wrong! With all due respect and ‘affability’".
