Hyderabad, Dec 19 (NationPress) Actor Roshan, who stars alongside Anaswara Rajan in director Pradeep Advaitham's historical drama 'Champion', has recently sought blessings at the Sri Bhadrakali Temple located in Warangal, right before the film's premiere on December 25.

In a post shared on their social media platforms, Swapna Cinemas, the film's production house, released a video and a photo of the actor at the temple, captioning it, "Our CHAMPION @iamrshn visited the sacred Sri Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal to seek divine blessings. The released trailer indicates that the narrative unfolds in 1948, a year post-India's independence. While various regions of the country are enjoying freedom, the area known as Bairanpally in the Hyderabad province remains under the oppressive rule of the Nizams.

In this backdrop, the protagonist, a government-employed police officer, enters the scene. The trailer reveals that he is an exceptional footballer with aspirations to travel to London and become a world champion. Yet, his ambitions are shattered when he finds himself bound for Bairanpally instead of London. Despite this setback, he ventures into the region and encounters Anaswara Rajan, who earns a living by performing with her theater group. Initially, they clash, but soon their relationship blossoms. However, chaos ensues in Bairanpally. What was the mission assigned to Roshan in Bairanpally? Did he achieve his goals? Champion is poised to answer these intriguing questions.
