Mumbai, March 4 (NationPress) Adarsh Gourav is all set to make his Telugu debut in a psychological horror film. The actor expressed admiration for the South film industry, highlighting its ability to deliver some of the most captivating and innovative films.
Adarsh stated: "I’ve always held the belief that remarkable stories surpass language barriers, and as an actor, my greatest excitement lies in exploring a variety of narratives across different film industries. The South film industry has persistently offered some of the most compelling and inventive movies, and I’m thrilled to finally join in."
The project, which is yet to be titled, is being led by Jahnavi, the daughter of well-known producer D.V.V. Danayya, and directed by Baba Shashank. Its release is slated for 2025.
He mentioned that this will be his first experience in the psychological horror genre.

Adarsh began his acting career with the drama film My Name Is Khan in 2010. He gained global acclaim for his role as chauffeur Balram Halwai in the satirical film The White Tiger, which earned him nominations for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
He has also appeared in Hostel Daze, the comic thriller series Guns & Gulaabs, and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.
His recent work includes Superboys of Malegaon, a coming-of-age film directed by Reema Kagti and penned by Varun Grover. It draws inspiration from the 2008 documentary Supermen of Malegaon, focusing on the life of Nasir Shaikh and other amateur filmmakers in the small town of Malegaon.
The film also features Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora, and Anuj Singh Duhan.
