Mumbai, June 27 (NationPress) Actress Aditi Shetty has spoken out about the daring and intimate scenes featured in “Rana Naidu Season 2.” She defended their inclusion, stating they are crucial to both the narrative and the evolution of her character.
In an interview with IANS, Aditi clarified that this new season includes only a limited number of such scenes, all meticulously shot with intention. She emphasized their significance, mentioning that each moment contributes to the depth of her character. Regarding the bold scenes, Aditi remarked, “Season 2 has very few bold scenes, and even those are captured aesthetically. They were vital to the storyline and enriched the character's journey. Nothing felt superfluous—it was all integral to the larger narrative. Every action we took had meaning and depth.”
Aditi Shetty also shared her reasons for joining 'Rana Naidu Season 2.' “There were numerous factors. I had collaborated with the directors previously on Mirzapur, and I was already a fan of Rana Naidu Season 1. So, when I learned about the role, my curiosity peaked. The character had a fascinating arc, and I was thrilled by her development and complexity. Moreover, the scenes were outstanding—particularly the full face-off with Rana sir. That clinched the deal for me.”
Shetty further disclosed that her on-screen character in “Rana Naidu Season 2” is quite different from her actual self. Describing her character Tasneem, Aditi labeled her as “fierce, intense, and dominating,” which starkly contrasts her bubbly and expressive personality. “Tasneem is very different from who I am in real life,” Aditi said. “I’m more vibrant and expressive, while Tasneem is more controlled, almost stoic.” Despite these differences, Aditi identified a shared love for fitness as a common bond. “That’s definitely a common thread,” she added.
“Rana Naidu Season 2” also features Venkatesh Daggubati, Rana Daggubati, Arjun Rampal, and Kriti Kharbanda. The series premiered on Netflix on June 13.
