Adivi shared insights with IANS about his trilingual film ‘Major’, where he played the role of the fallen Indian Army Officer, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, which fills him with pride.
He remarked, “The film I feel most proud of is ‘Major’ because of our effort to honor the great man's legacy and receiving validation from his parents about the film even today.”
Continuing, he noted, “My initial hit, ‘Kshanam’, is often regarded as my finest work, stemming from a place of raw emotion and determination, which perhaps gives it a unique edge that resonates with many.”
He also reflected on the cultural significance of his films, stating, “‘Goodachari’ has had a remarkable impact, which is why we are excited to create ‘G2’ (Goodachari 2), as it has gained a massive repeat viewership on television and I’m eager to amaze audiences with ‘G2’.”
