In her caption, Alanna expressed: "@ahaanpandayy is my uncle, but Krish Kapoor is my best friend."
'Saiyaara' is a musical romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri, featuring debutant Ahaan Panday alongside Aneet Padda. The film narrates the story of Krish Kapoor, a troubled musician who develops a profound bond with Vaani Batra, a reserved poet.
The film has achieved remarkable success, earning ₹418 crores globally, making it the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025, the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, and the highest-grossing Indian romantic film.
Aneet Padda’s upcoming streaming project, titled 'Nyaya', is directed by Nitya Mehra and her husband Karan Kapadia. 'Nyaya' was filmed prior to Aneet's commitment to 'Saiyaara'.
A trade source mentioned, "Aneet is a leading lady for YRF. 'Nyaya' was filmed before she signed 'Saiyaara' and will not affect her career path as a theatrical star. A girl who is delivering a blockbuster hit of approximately ₹400 crores in theatres at just 22 years old is a genuine Gen Z icon."
"There are extensive plans to position her as the face of a generation, achievable only by enhancing her theatrical presence," the source added.
'Saiyaara' has emerged as an unexpected success amidst a time when Bollywood has struggled at the box office. Featuring two newcomers, the film debuted with an impressive ₹21.5 crore in India. It is entering its second week in theatres on Monday, and continues to perform strongly, maintaining its collection streak.
