Mumbai, Feb 3 (NationPress) Director Ahmed Khan recently commended Akshay Kumar for his steadfast commitment and dedication, showcasing the extraordinary efforts the actor invests in his films.

Khan, who is collaborating with the star for their upcoming project, "Welcome to the Jungle," conveyed his respect for Kumar’s passion for his craft, underlining how the actor continually strives to exceed expectations and deliver outstanding performances.

In his remarks, the filmmaker revealed, “This is a journey of a 33-year-old friendship and work collaboration between Akshay and me, which began with Suhaag in 1993 and continues with Welcome to the Jungle in 2025. Our bond is only growing stronger. I recall that Suhaag was the film preceding Rangeela when Akshay asked me to create a music segment. His innovative spirit prompted me to develop a unique introduction piece for him, which I must say, no other hero or choreographer would dare attempt. He executed it flawlessly, making his character resemble someone straight out of the Baywatch series.”

Ahmed continued, “When we filmed it, the experience was enjoyable, and the outcome was fantastic. I then progressed with my career, working on Rangeela and many songs with Akshay until we arrived at Welcome to the Jungle, where I am directing him. Our relationship has remained consistent, and Akshay is still the same person I met years ago.”

The director elaborated, “Akshay’s enthusiasm and energy are infectious.
