Mumbai, March 13 (NationPress) Akansha Ranjan reminisced about her childhood experiences during the festival of Holi in a recent interview. The actress from 'Guilty' described how she would joyfully throw water balloons at unsuspecting passersby.

She stated, "I’m not sure if I ever did anything particularly outrageous, but as kids, we would fill water balloons and head up to the terrace of our building to toss them at those walking by—not directly at them, but just in front or behind to give them a little scare—which I think should be permissible. We also enjoyed water balloon battles between our building and the one next door."

When it comes to her favorite Holi treats, Akansha mentioned, "My favorite food has to be street food—Chat. I absolutely adore eating panipuri and sev puri; after playing, I would indulge myself with street delicacies."

She also admitted that she has never been one to cook during Holi. "I don’t think I have ever prepared anything—I was mostly the one who played and enjoyed eating," she added.

Regarding her preparations for the festival, Akansha shared, "My routine has remained consistent since childhood—waking up, applying oil to my hair, painting my nails with dark polish, and wearing old, dark clothes—usually shorts and a t-shirt. If we were going outside to play, 4-5 of us would cram into a car, rolling up the windows to avoid being attacked—or we’d rush down with all our supplies to ensure we could strike first before anyone else got to us."

On her professional journey, Akansha is set to appear in the new Amazon Prime Video series, "Gram Chikitsalaya." This drama chronicles the life of a doctor from the city as he navigates his new role at a public health center in a small town.
