Mumbai, April 6 (NationPress) Producer Ektaa Kapoor shared an intriguing story about Akshay Kumar, revealing that the Bollywood icon once returned her a cheque after one of their previous projects flopped at the box-office.
During the trailer launch of the upcoming horror-comedy ‘Bhooth Bangla’ on Monday, she expressed her admiration for the superstar's integrity and kindness.
Ektaa recounted, “Few are aware of this about him, but he once handed back the cheque, stating, ‘You have lost money due to this film.’ I was taken aback; such actions are rare. I've been in the industry for 31 years, and I’ve never witnessed anyone do this before. He simply returned the cheque and said, ‘Take it.’ I insisted that he must collaborate with me again, and that’s how this film came to fruition.”
The trailer for ‘Bhooth Bangla’ was launched on Monday, marking the reunion of Akshay Kumar, Priyadarshan, Paresh Rawal, and Rajpal Yadav.
