Mumbai, Jan 20 (NationPress) Bollywood sensation Akshay Kumar is poised to portray Mahadev in his inaugural Telugu film titled “Kannappa”, expressing his honor in bringing this legendary narrative to life.
In his role as Lord Shiva, Akshay took to Instagram to unveil his first look. The image showcases him wielding a trishul in one hand and a damru in the other. The poster features the text “Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva” and “The Supreme Lord Who Rules Over The Three Worlds Surrenders Himself to Pure Devotion.”
He captioned the post: “Stepping into the sacred aura of Mahadev for #Kannappa. Honored to bring this epic tale to life. May Lord Shiva guide us on this divine journey. Om Namah Shivaya!”
“Kannappa” is a mythological film helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu. It draws inspiration from the tale of Kannappa, a devotee of Hindu god Shiva. The cast includes Vishnu Manchu, Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan, Madhoo, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal.
