Mumbai, June 17 (NationPress) Even before its theatrical release, Vishnu Manchu’s "Kannappa" has garnered significant acclaim. The latest celebrity to praise it is Akshay Kumar, who commended Vishnu Manchu for his remarkable commitment to the mythological film.
Akshay shared insights into Vishnu Manchu's multitasking abilities on set. The 'Airlift' star stated, “I’ve observed Vishnu in action—not just as the lead, but as someone fully invested in the film’s essence. He was performing, coordinating set activities, and even assisting with the background and props when necessary. At times, he resembled an art director. He’s incredibly hands-on.”
Highlighting the actor's meticulousness, Akshay noted, “There was one particular scene—lasting only six or seven minutes on screen—but he dedicated nearly two hours to explain it to me thoroughly. I grasped it quickly, but he continued because of his profound passion. It’s rare to see an actor immerse themselves in a role with such fervor and heart. He has genuinely lived and breathed Kannappa.
