The production team unveiled her initial appearance from the film on social media on Monday, and the actress shared this moment with her followers. She expressed, 'A dream role indeed! The 'Singham' star appeared absolutely ethereal as Parvati Devi, dressed in a white saree adorned with golden borders. Her ensemble was complemented by a stunning golden neckpiece, matching earrings, bangles, and a mang-tikka. She wore her hair down, accentuated with a pink flower. The makeup was kept subtle, perfectly suiting her role as Lord Shiva's consort in 'Kannappa'.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, 'Kannappa' is produced by Mohan Babu under the banner of AVA Entertainment in collaboration with 24 Frames Factory. The film features a star-studded cast, including Vishnu Manchu in the lead role, alongside Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan, Madhoo, Mohanlal, Prabhas, and Akshay Kumar in significant roles. Notably, 'Kannappa' will mark Akshay Kumar's debut in Telugu cinema.
The music and background score for the film are composed by Stephen Devassy, while Sheldon Chau is responsible for the cinematography, and Anthony is handling the editing. The film has been filmed in various locations, including New Zealand.
'Kannappa' is slated for a theatrical release worldwide on April 25 this year.
