Mumbai, Jan 11 (NationPress) The wildfires in Southern California have wreaked havoc in Hollywood, leading many celebrities to evacuate as the flames continue to engulf parts of Los Angeles. Among those affected is Alanna Panday, cousin of Bollywood star Ananya Panday.
Recently, Alanna shared her experience on Instagram, detailing how she and her family had to end their ski vacation prematurely due to the wildfires. She expressed her sorrow over witnessing the destruction of a place that held significant meaning in her life.
She mentioned, “What’s been happening these past few days. We cut our ski trip short after learning about the fires. We drove into LA through thick smoke, racing home to pack our lives into a few suitcases and whatever we could fit in the car. The thought of evacuating with everything we own in that house and potentially returning to nothing but ashes was heart-wrenching.”
“I can’t even fathom what those who have already lost their homes must be experiencing right now. We are currently in close proximity to two fires but have not received a level 3 evacuation warning yet. For now, we are safe, and I appreciate everyone who has reached out,” she added.
Previously, actress Nora Fatehi, known for her role in the comedy film ‘Madgaon Express’, also evacuated from California due to the wildfires ravaging Los Angeles. In a video, she documented her alarming experience.
In the video, she stated, “Hey everyone, I’m in Los Angeles, and the wildfires are insane. I’ve never seen anything like this. We just received an evacuation order a few moments ago. I quickly gathered my belongings and am leaving this area. I am heading towards the airport to wait there because I have a flight today, and I hope it doesn’t get canceled.”
“This situation is terrifying. I’ve never faced anything like it before, so I’ll keep you all updated. I really hope everyone stays safe. This is unbelievable—just uncontrollable fires. I’ll keep you posted,” she concluded.
