Mumbai, Jan 11 (NationPress) The wildfires in Southern California have wreaked havoc in Hollywood, forcing several celebrities to evacuate their residences as the flames continue to spread through Los Angeles. Alanna Panday, the cousin of Bollywood star Ananya Panday, is also grappling with the situation.

Recently, Alanna took to her Instagram to express her feelings about having to cut short their ski vacation upon learning about the infernos. She shared how they hastily packed their belongings and the heartache of watching a place that held so many memories being consumed by the fires.

She wrote, “What’s been unfolding these past few days has been overwhelming. We ended our ski trip prematurely after hearing about the fires. We drove into LA through thick smoke, racing home to cram our lives into a few suitcases or anything that would fit in our car. The thought of evacuating with our entire life in this house and possibly returning to nothing but ashes was heart-wrenching.”

“I can’t even begin to fathom what those who have already lost their homes must be feeling right now. We are currently very close to two fires but have not received a level 3 evacuation warning yet. Thankfully, we are safe at the moment, and I appreciate everyone who has reached out.”

Previously, actress Nora Fatehi, known for her recent role in the comedy film ‘Madgaon Express’, also evacuated California due to the wildfires in Los Angeles. A video captured her emotional experience during the evacuation.

In the video, she stated, “Hey everyone, I’m in Los Angeles, and the wildfires are absolutely insane. I’ve never encountered anything like this before. We just received an evacuation order a few minutes ago. I quickly packed my belongings and am leaving this area. I plan to head towards the airport and wait there because I have a flight today, and I really hope it doesn’t get canceled.”

“This is truly frightening. I’ve never been through something like this, so I’ll keep you updated. I sincerely hope everyone stays safe because this situation is beyond comprehension. I’m going to keep you posted.”
