"Rakht Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom" is an action fantasy series on Netflix, directed by Rahi Anil Barve. Based on the Marathi short story Vidushak by G. A. Kulkarni, it is set to debut on Netflix as a six-episode limited series.
The inaugural season unfolds in a fictional kingdom, centering on the rivalry between two princes competing for the throne.
In March, Ali revealed that he has been growing his hair for a year and dedicating 6-7 hours daily to training to achieve the perfect physique, while also exploring traditional Indian martial arts to enhance authenticity in his action scenes.
His preparation entails rigorous weight training, diction coaching, and an in-depth study of ancient Indian martial arts.
Ali stated: "Choosing to be part of Rakht Brahmand was straightforward for me, as it’s a unique project that stands apart from my previous work. The depth, scale, and sheer vision behind it are astounding."
However, with such a substantial role comes significant responsibility, according to Ali.
"From day one, I recognized that this would necessitate immense physical and mental commitment. I have been dedicating nearly 6-7 hours daily to training—whether through weight training for the right physique, diction classes for speech refinement, or immersing myself in traditional Indian martial arts to ensure my action sequences are as gritty and genuine as possible."
"The actual challenge has been pushing my body and mind beyond their limits. This journey has been demanding but incredibly fulfilling. I eagerly await the moment when audiences can experience the world we are crafting with Rakht Brahmand.
