Mumbai, March 14 (NationPress) Renowned filmmaker Ayan Mukerji’s father and esteemed actor Deb Mukherjee has sadly passed away at the age of 83.
Alia Bhatt, a close friend of Ayan, along with her sister Shaheen Bhatt, visited his residence to pay her respects to the late filmmaker. The 'Jigra' star cut short her celebrations in Alibaug, where she was enjoying Holi and her birthday with Ranbir Kapoor, to support Ayan during this trying period. Ranbir also joined Alia.
Additionally, Kajol was seen at Ayan's home in Mumbai, accompanied by her son Yug. For those who may not know, Kajol is the niece of Deb Mukherjee.
Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan was also present at the director's residence.
A spokesperson confirmed the tragic news, stating that Deb Mukherjee passed away in the morning due to age-related health complications.
