Hyderabad, Oct 1 (NationPress) Allu Arjun's younger sibling, Allu Sirish, has officially revealed his engagement to Nayanika on a special day—his grandfather's birth anniversary. The couple is set to exchange their vows on October 31.

This announcement is particularly poignant as it falls on the birth anniversary of the legendary actor and comedian, Allu Ramalingaiah, who was a cherished figure in their family.

In a heartfelt post shared on social media, Allu Sirish included a picture of himself holding Nayanika's hand against the backdrop of the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris, where they were enjoying a romantic getaway.

In his touching message to fans, he expressed, “Today, on the birth anniversary of my grandfather, Allu Ramalingaiah garu, I feel blessed to share something very close to my heart- my engagement to Nayanika. (sic)”

He further revealed the emotional reason behind his decision, stating, “My grandmother, who recently passed, always wished to see me married. Although she is no longer with us, I believe she is blessing us from above as we embark on this journey together. It brings us immense joy that our families have warmly accepted our love.”

Allu Sirish has been quite private about his personal life, keeping the details of his relationship largely under wraps.

Following the passing of his grandmother on August 30, the actor shared an emotional tribute online. He wrote, "My dear ‘nanamma’, Shri Kanaka Ratnam passed away peacefully on the morning of August 30. Her farewell was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren mourning her loss."

He reminisced about cherished moments with her, saying, "My fondest memories include the secret pocket money she gave me, unbeknownst to my parents, and her application of ubtan powder on me after I played outdoors in the summer sun, hoping to de-tan me. I’m grateful we spent quality time together in her final days. She will always be remembered fondly, as many of her traits and genes live on in us. I will miss her dearly!"
