Amitabh Bachchan Emphasizes National Unity in Remembering Four Icons

Mumbai, Jan 3 (NationPress) On Friday, Amitabh Bachchan utilized social media to pay tribute to the illustrious figures that the nation mourned in 2024. The country said goodbye to several remarkable legends in the latter part of the year, such as entrepreneur Ratan Tata, tabla maestro Zakir Hussain, former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, and celebrated filmmaker Shyam Benegal. Each of these individuals left an indelible mark on India's advancement in their respective domains.
On his Instagram account, the actor shared a touching homage featuring a cartoon by artist Satish Acharya, celebrating the lives of these four legends. In his post, Bachchan remarked, "The picture says it all."
The illustration portrayed the four icons in the afterlife, each engaged in their passions. Zakir Hussain was shown playing the tabla, Shyam Benegal was depicted working with a camera, Ratan Tata was seen feeding dogs, and Dr. Singh was illustrated continuing his efforts for the nation's improvement.
The post's caption read: “A Parsi, a Muslim, a Sikh, and a Hindu passed away in 2024, and the entire nation mourned them, remembering them only as Indians.”
