Mumbai, April 17 (NationPress) Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan announced that his blog has reached the milestone of 17 years, attributing its longevity to his fans, whom he affectionately calls his “Extended Family”.

Since he began sharing insights about his life and career on Tumblr in April 2008, Amitabh has consistently written on his blog for around 6271 days.

He expressed, “There is so much to follow from experts and well-wishers... on work, on health, on attitude, on behavior... and many more aspects... Those that express and write and communicate, bless them all... they do so with utmost care and resolve for benefit... My admiration and approbation (sic).”

He further stated: “The ability and platform to express oneself is a gift of modern technology... once unknown, but now familiar... in whatever form... voices that may have remained silent before are now being heard through the written word...”

Thus, he joyfully noted that the blog is celebrating its 17th Anniversary... 17 years of its existence... (sic)”

The acclaimed actor pondered how swiftly 17 years have flown by.

“When the passage of time is acknowledged, one wonders how on earth did 17 years go by... but they did... and they did because the EF, effed it... giving it a life, a friendship, a family that became an example for many. (sic).”

He remarked that without his “extended family,” the blog would merely be a page.

“Now it possesses a soul... and that soul is all of you.”

He also showcased an AI-generated image of himself.

“We move with modernity and technology... and the AI generated. The Blog lives because you have kept it alive... to breathe, to envelop, to embrace all that came with love, affection, and respect...”

He added: “Some came... stayed and then left... some just left... some just stayed... it has been the largest metaphor for all... in all its meaning and presence... ever in the goodness of it all... appreciated, admired, and loved...”
