Mumbai, April 13 (NationPress) The legendary Bollywood icon, Amitabh Bachchan, affectionately refers to his fans as his “extended family” or “EF”. He has shared his heartfelt appreciation for their unwavering support throughout the years.
In a recent post on his blog, which he inaugurated in 2008, Amitabh reflected on his incredible journey, noting that what started on “Day 1” has now spanned an impressive 6628 days.
“Although I have faced delays regarding the Blog, I have never faltered in my efforts to connect and express my gratitude to my Ef, whose love and affection I receive daily. I often find it hard to believe how far we have come since DAY 1,” he remarked.
He attributes this lasting relationship to his consistent efforts, resilience, and a firm commitment to remain connected, even during trying times.
“It has required a steadfast perseverance in thought, word, and action, along with a determination to stay present despite challenging situations,” he elaborated.
While on the road for various projects, he made sure to maintain internet connectivity, dubbing it a “saviour” that allowed him to sustain his daily communications with his extended family (Ef).
“In every location where my contractual obligations led me, my primary request was always for net connectivity, which has been a true saviour in every sense, enabling my connection to the Ef. I feel incredibly fortunate to receive such love and support from my Ef,” he stated.
