Mumbai, Feb 15 (NationPress) The legendary Amitabh Bachchan has shared that adapting to the rapidly changing technology is becoming more difficult for him. He disclosed that for the last several days, mastering new gadgets has consumed all his work time.
Amitabh expressed on his blog: “Technology constantly pushes us to enhance our gadgets... and it happens at a fast pace... just when we start getting used to one device, another modern one surfaces... (sic)”
“And thus begins another challenge... learning how to operate the new one... So for the past few days, this has completely taken over my work schedule.”
The film icon stated that he cannot keep “running off to a technician for help.”
“And delegating the task to a tech-savvy individual is not an option... I must understand how to operate my own machine... it belongs to me, I should be knowledgeable... I can’t just keep running off for tech support.”
The actor shared that his days have been exhausting due to this.
“So my entire day has been draining as I try to learn and still fail with the new gadget... AAAARRRRGGHHHHH... IF I MAKE IT THROUGH THIS STRUGGLE, I SHALL RETURN... otherwise, later perhaps... in hopefully more relaxed times...”
On February 14, Big B praised the trend of re-releasing classic films, stating they are drawing huge crowds to theaters.
He mentioned on his blog how the Gen-Z audience encourages him to “adapt to the times.”
He elaborated on the re-release trend. In 2024 and 2025, many classic films like “Karan Arjun,” “Raja Babu,” “Hum Aapke Hain Koun!...,” “Sanam Teri Kasam,” “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein,” “Padmaavat,” “Laila Majnu,” and “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” will grace the big screen again.
“However... the resurgence of classic films is attracting massive audiences and foot traffic... so it’s better to stick with them... Most of this Gen has either watched or heard of these films online and largely on their mobile devices.”
He compared this to the theatrical experience.
“The feeling of a large screen and the collective audience reactions are greatly missed, and when they finally get the chance, they go wild... screaming, dancing in the aisles, and just... having a blast... And those who experienced those times keep reminding me with vivid memories of the grand openings and the long lines waiting to enter the theater...”
“AHHH... it’s wonderful to see them... BUT... I’m not inclined to showcase those moments here or anywhere... self-restraint... Or perhaps too shy to discuss them and unsure of what to say... sometimes remaining silent is a better choice than to speak and be left speechless... be well and happy, everyone.”
