Mumbai, April 15 (NationPress) Megastar Amitabh Bachchan believes that one of the most pointless activities during the day is to search for a topic on the internet.
“One of the most worthless activities during the day is to search an issue on the net…(sic)” the film legend expressed in his blog.
The veteran actor explained that distractions play a significant role.
“The moment you focus on your query, you find yourself getting, quite unnecessarily, intrigued by numerous other topics that flood in... and by the time you remember why you initially ventured online, YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN WHY (sic).”
The star mentioned that he logged onto social media to read comments but soon became sidetracked.
“I went to X and FB to see the comments but became so absorbed in what others were saying that when I returned to my original page, I was lost regarding the topic I intended to address... too much information too quickly (sic),” he noted.
Previously, Big B shared the special gift his son, Abhishek Bachchan, gave him.
He commented on how the art of handwriting has been overshadowed by typing on digital gadgets.
“The era of handwriting has been supplanted by tapping on the black square... and the younger generation is submitting their work using this medium... and no one writes anymore,” he added.
The octogenarian revealed that his son Abhishek gifted him a special pen, recognizing his father's love for traditional writing.
“In Abhishek's generosity, he presented me with a pen, acknowledging that his father still enjoys using his hands to write with ink... often enough... (sic).”
Discussing why the pen is significant, Big B wrote: “Did you know, another aspect that Abhishek discovered at the store is that the nibs of pens are specifically designed for left-handed and right-handed users... (sic).”
