Mumbai, Aug 20 (NationPress) The legendary Amitabh Bachchan emphasizes that remaining dedicated to one course is essential for achieving your ultimate goals, urging people to steer clear of the various routes proposed by others.
In his latest blog post, the iconic actor expressed: “Never take never granted for granted (sic).”
He also referenced his esteemed father, poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and his poem “Madhushala,” which conveys that throughout life's journey, numerous individuals may present divergent and contradictory paths.
With this, Big B advocated for undivided concentration, resilience, and the importance of not being swayed by a plethora of options.
He noted: “Respecting authority is important; however, many find themselves indecisive when faced with such choices.”
“Alag alag path batate sab, par main yeh batlaya hun; raah pakad tu ek chala chal pa jaaayega Madhushala… there is but one path to your final destination .. keep moving in the path and ye shall get there. (sic).”
The celebrated actor is currently seen hosting the new season of the quiz show “Kaun Banega Crorepati.” On August 15, he shared his struggle with the emotional toll faced by contestants who do not win.
“We occupy the hot seat and interact with contestants who harbor high aspirations during their week on the show .. and when they fall short, it's incredibly challenging to manage their frustration from failure and lost opportunities, yes. (sic.),” he reflected on his blog.
“For me, it is also emotionally devastating to witness their tears as the week concludes, the Hooter sounds, and their chance to play, for various personal reasons, vanishes (sic.)”
He acknowledges that while he attempts to provide comfort, the pain of missing a life-altering opportunity is heartbreaking.
“No amount of consolation at that moment can truly provide them with comfort and understanding .. For some, this is crucial; the chance for those who have sacrificed their education or job prospects to be on the set, only to lose it .. such moments are hard to confront ..(sic.)”
“But what can we do .. offer a smile of 'try again' .. a word of encouragement that all will be well... Loss is not the end of life .. it's a lesson that aligns with: Mann ka ho to acha; na ho toh zyada acha. (sic.)”
“However, not everyone subscribes to this belief, which is disheartening… but as the saying goes, the show must go on .. one leaves pondering not just the winner and his knowledge, but also the ones who tried and failed .. life can be quite challenging ..(sic.)
