Mumbai, Aug 20 (NationPress) The legendary Amitabh Bachchan ardently believes that the key to achieving your ultimate goal lies in remaining dedicated to a singular path, advocating against the various routes others may propose.
Big B shared his thoughts on his blog, stating: “Never take never granted for granted (sic).”
He recited a poignant poem from his esteemed father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, titled Madhushala, which conveys that throughout life's journey, individuals will present a myriad of conflicting options.
Through this, Big B emphasized the importance of unwavering focus, perseverance, and not allowing oneself to be sidetracked by the plethora of available choices.
He remarked: “Pandering to authority right .. in the right sense; but often people find themselves, in these conditions sitting on the fence .. for the right…”
“Alag alag path batate sab, par main yeh batlaya hun; raah pakad tu ek chala chal pa jaaayega Madhushala… there is but one path to your final destination .. keep moving in the path and ye shall get there. (sic).”
The iconic actor is currently hosting the latest season of the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. On August 15, he expressed the emotional toll he experiences when contestants fail to win.
“We sit on the hot seat and meet the contestants who have high hopes of winning during their time on the floor .. and when they fall short, it's incredibly challenging to manage the disappointment of lost dreams for them, yes. (sic.),” he detailed in his blog.
“But for me as well .. it is emotionally devastating to witness their tears as they realize the week is over, the Hooter has played, and their chance to play, for various personal reasons, has vanished (sic.)”
He believes that, while he attempts to console them, the loss of a potentially life-altering opportunity is deeply saddening.
“No amount of consolation at that moment can provide them comfort and understanding .. The need for some is critical, the opportunity for those who have sacrificed their studies or jobs to be there, then to be on the main chair to play and WIN, lost .. confronting these moments is tough ..(sic.)”
“But what can be done .. a smile of 'try again' .. a word of encouragement that all shall be well... loss is not the end of life .. it's a lesson and adheres to: Mann ka ho to acha; na ho toh zyada acha.(sic.)”
“Yet few accept this reality, and that is heartbreaking… but as they say, the show goes on .. you leave thinking not of the winner and their skills, but of those who tried and lost .. life is a challenging journey ..(sic.)
